The Eco Tribe Cooperative is controlled completely by its members. One Member = One Vote
The community will meet collectively every 3 months to vote on important and key policy decisions. All decisions requiring a vote by the membership will be subject to a minimum 70% approval level.
The Governing Council is made up from the membership, with each council representative serving a 3 month term by rotation. The Council will meet every 2 weeks to discuss and vote upon minor policies and decisions relating to the daily activities of the cooperative. There are 9 members of the Governing Council and every member of the cooperative will each have the opportunity to sit upon the Council for their 3 month period. All decisions requiring a vote by the Council will be on a majority basis to be approved.
