Solar capture energy is now very developed here in the UK and has become a very economical source of renewable energy for homes. Eco Tribe will utilise cost effective solar energy systems on all homes built within the cooperative together with a standalone solar farm.

There's no escaping, the UK is a windy rich environment and Eco Tribe will harness this naturally occurring & abundant energy to power our community. A mixed approach of individual sized turbines on each home together with larger communal turbines will help create a carbon free energy power supply.

With fantastic opportunities to utilise the latest renewable sources of energy, it's essential we capture as much surplus energy as we can and store this for later use. Technological advances in battery cell development and energy storage capabilities have provided a cost effective means to hold this valuable resource for when we need it.

As with battery storage, the goal now is to develop 100% electric powered vehicles and Eco Tribe will look to utilise this carbon free mode of transport for our community. By producing our very own sources of renewable energy and the means to charge our vehicles, we can maintain our ability to travel without impacting upon the environment.
