The Eco Tribe Cooperative will become the basis for a self sustaining, environmentally aware and considerate community of individuals who seek to change their direction in life. Built upon the foundation of cooperative principles, One Member = One Share = One Vote.

As individuals, the challenges & barriers to a more independent, self-sustaining  lifestyle are difficult to achieve from both a financial perspective and available supporting infrastructure, but together as a community formed within the cooperative, the desire becomes reality.

Each member of the Cooperative will purchase one share. That share will provide equal ownership of the Cooperative. Every member of the Cooperative will equally determine the principles, rules and governance of the Tribe.

Eco Tribe is not driven by an ideological mantra or religious beliefs, it is driven by the necessity to become more self-sufficient in the hope of avoiding the growing threats society will face in the years to come. Eco Tribe will welcome members from all backgrounds, faiths & experiences to form a community of like minded people with the same desire to live more securely.

The Cooperative will purchase a holding of land, that will provide the necessary requirements in which to build comfortable, eco-friendly cost effective housing and community facilities. Technology provides fantastic solutions for modern living and Eco Tribe will look to utilise the most appropriate technologies available in the pursuit of better living. Each family unit within the community will develop and work their own parcel of land in which to grow, harvest & manage their resources, together with communal resources in support of the whole Tribe.

The community will be powered by 100% renewable energy generation, including the latest wind & solar energy production and battery storage solutions. Eco Tribe will develop & deliver all of the energy requirements to enable the cooperative to become 100% energy self sustaining.

A safe & sustainable water supply is essential to rural community living and Eco Tribe will develop natural and rainwater delivery systems that can produce all of the cooperatives water requirements.

With the dedicated land provided to each family unit within the community, the opportunities for individuals to grow their own fruit, vegetables & crops, together with livestock management will be critical to the goal of self-sufficiency. The Tribe will come together to develop communal crop & livestock opportunities on a larger scale to provide most of the cooperatives food supply requirements.
